The 21-day free trial starts only after the first successful CueDraft Mac sign-in. Web login and the customer portal do not start it.
CueDraft Engine keeps writing on-device by default. Your text only leaves the Mac when you explicitly switch to a hosted provider for that run.
Clear answers before you start.
These are the practical questions buyers ask before starting the Mac trial or moving into paid access.
Which plan should I choose?
CueDraft currently has one paid plan: Pro. If you want CueDraft, that is the plan. It includes the full selected-text workflow plus CueDraft Engine on-device on macOS.
What does Pro include?
Pro includes Quick Fix, Advanced Actions, Action Chooser, presets, history/compare, profiles, hosted providers, and CueDraft Engine for on-device writing on macOS.
Does CueDraft keep my writing local?
Yes by default when you use CueDraft Engine. Your writing only leaves the device when you explicitly switch to a hosted provider such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
How does the Pro Trial work?
CueDraft starts a free one-time 21-day Pro Trial automatically on the first successful CueDraft Mac sign-in. No credit card is required to begin it, and web login or the customer portal do not start it.
Do I need API keys?
Not for CueDraft Engine. For hosted providers, bring-your-own-key requirements depend on the provider configuration you choose inside CueDraft.
Can I cancel later?
Yes. Subscription and billing actions live in the customer portal after sign-in, so cancellation does not depend on emailing support first.
How do refunds work?
Refund and cancellation guidance is public. The portal handles subscription changes, and the support team handles refund requests that need human review.
Will CueDraft work in the apps I already use?
CueDraft is strongest in browser fields, docs, notes, chat, email, and other selected-text workflows on Mac. The compatibility page explains the best-fit environments and where panel-first use is the safer choice.
Where can I check privacy and support details first?
Privacy, compatibility, refund, and support pages stay public so you can review the product boundaries before checkout.
