Review the Mac requirements now. Download opens soon.

CueDraft is a native direct-download app for macOS. This page exists so buyers can review the real system requirements and launch expectations before the public Mac download goes live.

The direct download button will appear here once the public Mac release is opened.

CueDraft download requirements at a glance

macOS 14 or later

CueDraft currently targets macOS 14 Sonoma and newer builds of macOS.

Apple Silicon recommended, Intel supported

Apple Silicon gets the fastest local MLX path. Intel Macs stay supported through CueDraft’s managed local server runtime.

Accessibility for reliable capture and replace

CueDraft relies on macOS Accessibility for dependable capture and approved paste-back into the app you were using.

Direct-download Mac release

The public release is planned as a signed, notarized website download with in-place website updates outside the App Store.

System requirements

What your Mac needs before CueDraft goes live.

These are the current product requirements pulled from the app and website release path, not placeholder marketing guesses.

Operating system
macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

CueDraft is currently built and distributed as a native macOS app with a macOS 14.0 deployment target.

Processor
Apple Silicon recommended. Intel supported.

Supported Apple Silicon Macs use the local MLX inference path when available. Intel Macs use CueDraft’s managed local llama-server runtime instead.

Permissions
Accessibility is required for the real workflow.

CueDraft can open from its hotkey without Accessibility, but reliable capture and replacement across apps depends on Accessibility access. Safari and Chrome automation helpers may trigger a separate browser-control prompt later when that browser-specific path is needed.

Internet connection
Needed for sign-in, first local setup, updates, and hosted providers.

The first Mac setup downloads the built-in model and, on server-backed paths, the local engine runtime. Sign-in, trial verification, website updates, and optional hosted providers also require network access.

AI path
Local by default, hosted only when you choose it.

CueDraft Engine is the privacy-first local option. Your text only leaves the device when you explicitly switch to a hosted provider for that run.

First launch

What happens on the first Mac install.

  • Sign in on the Mac app to connect the device and begin the Pro Trial. No credit card is required to start it.
  • CueDraft installs the built-in local model on first setup. Some Macs also download the managed local engine runtime as part of that setup.
  • Grant Accessibility when prompted so CueDraft can capture what you are editing and place approved edits back into the app you were already using.
Release status

The website is reviewable before the download is public.

The direct-download Mac release is not publicly available yet, so the download button intentionally stays disabled for now. Pricing, compatibility, privacy, and requirements can still be reviewed in full.
