Common questions
The HUD does not appear for selected text
Confirm CueDraft is enabled in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and that automatic selection actions are enabled. Browser address bars intentionally suppress the automatic bubble; use the explicit Quick Command shortcut there.
Why is Quick Fix not replacing text?
Quick Fix requires an explicit selection. CueDraft freezes and revalidates the source range before replacement. If the source changed or replacement could not be verified, the result opens in review so it is never lost.
Does Quit leave CueDraft running?
By default, Dock Quit and Command-Q close visible windows while the menu-bar item, Dock presence, shortcuts, and selection monitoring remain available. Disable resident behavior in General Settings or choose Quit CueDraft Completely.
Does CueDraft remember a conversation?
No. Every action is isolated. Ollama keep-alive retains model weights for speed, not previous prompt context.
Why is a provider unavailable?
For Ollama, make sure the server is running and at least one model is installed. For Claude, Codex, or Cursor, confirm the CLI is installed and signed in through its own setup. For Gemini, run the CLI and choose Sign in with Google. Use Check Again in CueDraft after completing setup.
